Hi! I have been a Customer Service Representative (CSR) here at Fitness Edge for Women since March 2008. Working at Fitness Edge for Women has further emphasized the reasons I decided on a career in health and fitness. My mission as a CSR is to make all members and visitors feel welcome. I love joking around with them and making them laugh because I know, at some point, they may be wishing they were somewhere else and not at the gym. I enjoy trying to make Fitness Edge for Women a fun and motivating atmosphere for everyone.

I am currently in the Faculty of Human Ecology at the University of Manitoba, and in my third year of Human Nutritional Sciences. My goal is to combine both nutrition and exercise by becoming a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Personal Trainer. In the near future, I will be counseling individuals on nutrition and exercise and I am definitely looking forward to it. Until then I will enjoy my position as a CSR and I know I will always look back at where I started and appreciate everything I have learned.

Away from work, I love to be doing anything outdoors such as hiking, running, biking, exploring, swimming, etc. I try to honor my Grandpa in learning something new everyday because “You stop living when you stop learning”. I am also happy to hang out with family and friends and play sports or just throw a ball around. When I have a chance to get out there, I appreciate going back to the family farm or going out to my sister and brother-in-law’s new farm and giving them a hand. Even if my career keeps me in the city, I will always retain the farm mentality that has been instilled in me.
