Zumba is back!  Wednesday Evenings 6:30pm Starting Septemer 8th, 2010!
 
All of our classes start with a 10 minute warmup and end with a minimum of 5 minutes of  core training and 5 minutes of flexibility training (unless otherwise specified).
  • Step - 35 minutes step, 5 minutes weights.
  • Step/WTS- 20 minutes step, 20 minutes weights.
  • Step INT - 4 minutes step, 1 minute weights alternating for 40 minutes.
  • Step BBC - 40 min of 3:1 minute step & wts, 15 min.bender ball 
  • 2 & 1 Interval - 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of muscle conditioning.
  • LI - 35 minutes lo impact aerobics, 5 minutes weights.
  • LI/WTS - 25 minutes cardio, 30 minutes weights. (75 minute class)
  • CXT (Crosstrainer) - 17 minutes step, 17 minutes hi/lo, 5 minutes weights.
  • CXT/WTS - 20 minutes step, 20 minutes hi/lo, 20 minutes weights.
  • CXT/INT - 20 minutes step / 20 minutes lo alternating weights at 4:1minute ratio
  • 5 & 5 - 5 minutes step, 5 minutes hi/lo alternating for 40 minutes.
  • 5 & 5 & 5 - 5 minutes step, 5 minutes hi/lo, and 5 minutes of Bosu
  • C & C (Cardio & Core) - Incorporates step & hi/lo for 25 minutes cardio & 15 minutes core exercises.
  • Circuit - A fun and exciting mix! One min each of gliding, step, Bosu, weights, skipping, Med balls and more!
  • WWF (Women, Weights & Fitness) - 40 mins weight training w/ free weights & tubing.
  • WWF Interval - 4 minutes weights, 1 minute cardio drill alternating for 40 minutes.
  • Zumba -  Latin-infused music and dance.  Come on out and dance!
  • T & T (THIS & THAT)- This class changes monthly - a great way to try out a new class i.e. Bosu, Ball, Dance etc.
Listed below are the THIS & THAT options
  • Bender Ball Circuit - step interval with 20 minutes of Bender Ball
  • Ball Blast - utilizes ballast balls, medicine balls, bosus and bender balls
  • 543 & BB - 5 min step, 4 min hi lo, 3 min gliders first 40 min. 20 min of Bender Ball
  • 90/60/30 - Cardio and strength alternating for 40 minutes. 90 sec cardio, 30 sec wts, 60 sec cardio, 30 sec wts, 30 sec cardio, 30 sec wts. 
  • Duo Step - 40 minutes of cardio using 2 steps.
  • Triple Step - 40 minutes of cardio using 3 steps.
  • Quad Step - 40 minutes of step using 4 steps.
  • Step/Butt/Core - 30 minutes step, 15 minutes butt and core.
  • Step/Kickboxing - 5 min of each
  • Cardio Party & Core - 1 minute each of step, Bosu, skipping & agility ladder w/ core
  • S.G.B. - One minute each of Step, Glide and Bosu.
  • Mini-bootcamp - the mini version of our best in Winnipeg bootcamps.
  • Cardio Interval - 4 minutes of step and 1 minute of bosu/gliders/skipping.
  • STEP PLUS - 50 minutes of cardio, 5 minutes of Bender Ball abs and stretch.
  • Yogalates - a lovely blend of yoga and pilates...stretch, strengthen and lengthen.
  • Line Stepping - moving down a line of steps...run back and start again.
  • L-Step - benches are set up in an L-formation
 
This & That (T & T) - classes in the following time slots switch up every month.

FITNESS CLASS CANCELLATION
 
Fitness Edge for Women (FEfW) reserves the right to cancel a class at anytime and without prior notice or restitution. Listed below are examples of reasons for class cancellations but are not limited to those provided. The decision to cancel a class is at the discretion of the owners of FEfW. We always do our best to find a substitution for the class but sometimes that is not always possible.
  1. Instructor Cancellation - Due to illness, emergency or weather conditions
  2. Weather Conditions - In the event of severe weather, classes may be cancelled. Please call the gym in such conditions for more information.
  3. Poor Attendance - We keep attendance statistics on all of our classes. In the event that attendance is poor over a period of time, the class may be cancelled. At least one week notice will be provided and posted in the gym and on the website. The amount of "attendance" and "period of time" is to be determined by the owners of FEfW.
